Noemy O'Hara is a portrait and wedding photographer based in the humble desert oasis gem called Twentynine Palms, nestled next to the beautiful and world-renown Joshua Tree National Park. She is a former drawer/painter, singer/musician turned photographer.  As the saying goes, "Variety is the spice of life", and she likes to show that need for "variety" in the work she does!

Noemy's passion for the arts has greatly influenced her approach to photography. Staying true to her portrait drawing & painting roots she believes in representing her subjects in a simple and elegant manner, while skillfully balancing composition, color, depth, and texture in her photographs all which lead to the creation of images that are both beautiful and timeless. 

 

With her simple and relaxed approach to guiding her clients into natural poses, Noemy is able to put her clients at ease and shine a bright light on the unique beauty of each person she photographs. The majority of her clients are self-proclaimed "un-photogenic" people, however, Noemy does not depend on heavy photo manipulation to create stunning images. Instead with great lighting and posing techniques, she is able to skillfully direct her clients into naturally flattering poses that highlight their best attributes!

 

 Time and time again her clients are amazed at out how great she has "made" them look in their photographs. Capturing people in a simple, honest, and yet artistic way is both a joy and duty she takes great pride in!
